Kid Lucky "The A cappella MC" is a vocalist who does all his songs including the beat, the bass line, the sound effects and the rhymes all at the same time and with only his voice. No track playing in the background, no DJ scratching with him. With influences from beatboxers like Doug E Fresh, Rahzel, Masai Electro, solo singers like Bobby McFerrin , all vocalists who are masters in the art of solo vocal performances, Kid Lucky is pushing the boundaries with a much more nu soul, urban folk approach. Where most of beatboxers are trying to wow audiences with crazy sound effects, The A cappella MC is focusing on creating great thought provoking songs utilizing beatboxing, emceeing and floetry all with only one instrument: his voice!


Kid Lucky is also a phenomenal band leader and sideman allowing him to be able to work with many vocalists and musicians around the world such as Doug E Fresh, Stevie Wonder, Vernon Reid (Living Colour) Rahzel (The Roots), Scott Ian (Anthrax) Senn Dogg (Cyprus Hill), MC Supernatural, Sabir Mateen, William Parker, Matthew Shipp, DJ Spooky, Jaleel Button (TV on the Radio), and more.

Kid Lucky is an event producer, Producing such events like the Pajama Jammy Jam, Sounds of Blackness featuring Vernon Reid, Young Vant Garde feat Manny Oquendo (Sound Lab, Electro Fetus), Beatboxing and the Art of Spoken Word (feat Doug E Fresh, Kenny Muhammad, and Scratch) and the world famous Hip Hop Subway Series which has had more than 200 international performers perform on trains of Manhattan.

Kid Lucky has played at many venues in NYC and around the world headlining venues such as Madison Square Garden, The Lincoln Center, The Hammerstein Ballroom, Blue Note, Carnegie Hall, Joe’s Pub, Anaheim Convention Center, 111 Minnea Gallery and loads more.
