That certainly explains the resemblence and probably why I recognized him. :) I've watched that mini series a few times (taped it when it was broadcast) - great story about a fantastic group. I never knew how much internal strife existed within the Temps. My dad watched it as well and he was surprised by their story too.

Transforming that poem was my most gratifying collaboration moment. Glad you still enjoy what I did with it.

Who is that with you in picture 3? He resembles Berry Gordy.

Professor Kim, Ja-Tun suggested that I speak with you for some advice or a possible mentorship, as I'm just graduating with a degree in Journalism and trying to find work in the field. I'm also going to be working with Ja-Tun on the site, so I would love to speak with you sometime! Please email me when you get a chance, at blessedbeauty84@yahoo.com, thanks!

Hey,
It was nice to meet you and I am glad you got a chance to see me live. You mentioned a video of my performance? Do you know where I can get a hold of that?

Hey, Kim.

Been out of the loop for a while as previously mentioned, but am getting back in the swing of things.

I created an mp3 file of 'Hold My Heart' earlier this week. With your permission, I'll post it on my page as a 'listen only'. If you'd like, I will send you a copy of the file as well.

I would also like to re-record the song, being that I now have the skills and equipment to create a better sounding version. May take a while, but it's on the 'to do' list.

Outrage and a Call to Conscience After R. Kelly Verdict

I'll be honest; I've been looking at singer R. Kelly cross-eyed for a long time, as much as I like such songs as "Step in the Name of Love" and I believe I Can Fly." I was always put off by his relationship with the late singer Aaliyah, with whom he had a bogus "marriage" in 1994, when she was 15. So I was not among th… Continue

What do you think about this news?

The New York Times is reporting today that gossip blogger Perez Hilton, aka Mario Lavandeira, is in "preliminary talks" about getting his own imprint at Warner Brothers Records. Although the newspaper says the talks are preliminary, they said that they had confirmation from several anonymous sources. Supposedly, Lavandeira would be paid… Continue
