Are you looking for an exciting way to get a positive message across to a youth group? If the answer is yes, my experiences will definitely be of interest. My name is Shakina Bagley a. k. a Kina (The Prophetic Poet), a motivational speaker, spoken word recording artist, and poet soon to be published. I had mastered the delivery of strong messages to young audiences, as demonstrated by five plus years experience in traveling as a Speaker and Spoken Word Artist to different Churches, Schools, Detention Center, Conference, Organizations and varies youth events. For my dedicated work with children and adolescents, I have been rewarded with many certificates of appreciation from various groups.



Being and adoptee and a survivor of various abuses while growing up in North Philadelphia, I can relate to misunderstood and troubled children looking for way to overcome the hurt and pain of their environments. Through out the country motivational speaker verbally inspire students to stay in school, say no to drugs and gangs, become leaders, and prepare for life after gradation. My aim, however, is to do more that. I seek to get on the inside with a more hands on approach, as well as work on the sidelines to promote change. Motivational speaking should be more than pep talk, but should be complemented with action. Allowing me to directly interact with your youth group helps me to achieve both simultaneously.



I have a unique style of reciting/performing my poetry, and am widely known for my inspirational mottos and parables. Not confide to a microphone, I love to interact with my audience through workshops and dramatize demonstrations. A few of the seminar topic that I can provide are as follows:
