LOL. That's the actor Obba Babatunde. He played Berry Gordy in the NBC miniseries about the Temptations. I've had a crush on him since I saw him in Dreamgirls on Broadway in 1984. I met him at the premier of August Wilson's "Jitney" in 2000. Wilson was there, too. It was thrilling to meet him.

Thanks for taking the time out to listen to the track and let me know your thoughts. I really have no preference on which way to go. Both ideas sound excellent to me. After mastering, would you like to post it on here? As for music theory, no, I have no clue as to how to answer either of those questions (LOL). I just go with what comes to me or what is presented to me.

CDs
Any Flavor You'd Like - This CD features a collection of ecclectic song styles, most falling under the pop/rock category. Any Flavor delivers what its title implies as very few songs sound alike. Take a tour of rock, country, latin vibe, adult contemporary, a light hearted poke at doo wop, and other classic styles all within one disk.
Epic - Experience a life journey that engages three of life's major philosophical and psychological mysteries. Every song on the disc contains a piece of the album's overall story, whether conveyed through the main character or those he encounters. Epic showcases the first attempt at writing in the progressive rock style, which becomes readily apparent in the 10+ minute title track opus.
Velocity - This is a full blown prog rock/metal album, with traces of pop appearing from time to time. This album breaks new ground in writing and musicianship. Caution was thrown to the wind to deliver a hard hitting piece of work featuring blazing guitar licks and complex vocals. Of particular interest is the four song drama Fear, which tells a tale entwining goth horror, love's complexity, and the attempt to interfere with divine intervention. There is a desire to incorporate Fear as a soundtrack to an animated feature. If people are interested in attempting the visual aspect of the project, please leave a message!
Ba-Rouqke - Oddly enough, this collection was originally intended to be an all acoustic album. All bets were off, however, when the writing began. Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, Ba-Rouqke incorporates a sophisticated blend of song style and unique composition structure. Nearly every song contains a twist, be it via bridge sections or instrumental segues. Toungue in cheek humor re-appears during the gripping epic tale of the King of Fah-Teengue and the CD closes with a heartfelt autobiographical ode, which hints at the direction this disk was intintended to take.
De-Synthetyzed - This is the all acoustic album originally intended for release in 2005. This latest effort was finalized in late 2007 and is a return to more traditional, pop oriented song formats though there are diversions such as Mary that contain a progressive element. There is a heavier focus on storytelling lyrics on this album and rich harmonies embellish what is otherwise a very stripped down album.
